To express my love, I dare not.
     For I've tried and failed in my dreams,
To pursue my amorous plot,
    From dark to light through all extremes.
Ah, perhaps events shall be kind,
    To conform with reality,
Structured, to provide peace of mind,
    Opposed to unbound fantasy.
None can predict what lies ahead,
    And none can know her choice of phrase,
Even I, 'til her words are said,
    Rely on previous displays,
To assemble my words and thoughts,
Then plead but hope it's not for naught.
